Graphic designer James Goggin of Practise and programmer Radovan Scasascia of Studio Scasascia have updated the website they created for us in 2015. Now you can search projects by collaborator, country and a host of other search terms.

Sep 2024Scotland's Best

David is chair of this year’s RIAS Andrew Doolan Award jury, an annual prize celebrating Scotland's best building. The shortlist was announced in the Architect's Journal. Listen to David speaking to Stephen Jardine on BBC Radio Scotland about the judging process. The winner will be announced at V&A Dundee on 21st November.

Aug 2024Oxford Preservation Trust Annual Lecture

David Kohn will give this year's Oxford Preservation Trust's annual RIBA Lecture at 5.30pm 10th September in the new auditorium we have designed for New College, Oxford. Entitled, 'Towards a Scenographic Architecture', David will discuss picturesque planning, curved quads and contemporary gargoyles. Jul 2024MAO On Site

Construction works are progressing at Modern Art Oxford. The £2M project will transform the ground floor to create a new entrance, community gallery and education space. The lower ground floor will become a new café designed by artist Emma Hart. The gallery is due to reopen in October with an exhibition by Cuban artist Belkis Ayón (1967 – 1999). Jun 2024SMAK win

We are thrilled to share the news that, in collaboration with NoAarchitecten and Asli Çiçek, we are winners in the Vlaams Bouwmeester competition to expand the Stedelijk Museum voor Actuele Kunst, (SMAK) in Ghent, Belgium. The 'City Museum for Art', is home to one of Belgium's most important collections of contemporary art. The €90M project will create 20,000m2 of gallery space.
