Aug 2025Hasselt Opening

The beguinage in Hasselt, Belgium, a major project in collaboration with Bovenbouw Architecten, has achieved completion. A public opening was held on 24th August with guests gathering in the newly transformed church ruin to hear speeches from the town mayor, regional politicians and the rector of the university followed by a musical celebration. David Kohn will be giving the opening lecture of the academic year at the architecture faculty of Hasselt University on 13th September to celebrate moving into the building. The project is due for publication at the end of the year.
