Construction works are progressing at Modern Art Oxford. The £2M project will transform the ground floor to create a new entrance, community gallery and education space. The lower ground floor will become a new café designed by artist Emma Hart. The gallery is due to reopen in October with an exhibition by Cuban artist Belkis Ayón (1967 – 1999). Jun 2024SMAK win
We are thrilled to share the news that, in collaboration with NoAarchitecten and Asli Çiçek, we are winners in the Vlaams Bouwmeester competition to expand the Stedelijk Museum voor Actuele Kunst, (SMAK) in Ghent, Belgium. The 'City Museum for Art', is home to one of Belgium's most important collections of contemporary art. The €90M project will create 20,000m2 of gallery space. Apr 2024Playful Elegance
Our project for Stephen Friedman Gallery on Cork Street has been covered by international design magazine Wallpaper*. The article follows the opening of the 60th Venice Biennale in which three of the gallery’s artists are participating: Jeffrey Gibson, Yinka Shonibare CBE RA and Leilah Babirye. Mar 2024Eva Rothschild Gate
Artist Eva Rothschild RA has designed the main entrance gates to our new quad for New College, Oxford. The design is based on a shifting linear perspective of a mountain path and will be unveiled next month.
